Dryers

Clean your filter!

Periodic cleaning of the dryer filter extends the life of the product and maintains peak performance. Reduced air flow caused by a clogged/dirty filter creates undue strain on the dryer motor, reducing performance and the life of the product.

Cleaning Instructions

  1. Remove the filter guard
  2. Remove filter and rinse with water
  3. Remove any additional debris in and around filter
  4. Replace filter and lock filter guard in place
  5. Repeat a minimum of every 2 months

Please be aware that failure to regularly clean the dryer filter as indicated will void the warranty.

Irons

Cleaning Instructions

Remove residue from the iron by cleaning the plates with a small amount of alcohol or glass cleaner applied to a soft cloth. Unplug the iron and wait until it has cooled before applying any substance other than hair.

Usage Instructions

  • Use on dry hair – it is unnecessary to wash hair prior to use
  • Start with a low temperature and increase as needed for individual hair textures and types (lower heat settings for fine or chemically treated hair, higher heat settings for coarse or healthy hair)
  • Take a small section of hair and comb through it to separate
  • Place hair between the plates as close to the scalp as possible
  • Gently close the iron and pull slowly away from scalp, allowing the hair to slide through as you pull it. Do not grip tightly.
  • Repeat the process with each section of your hair
  • For a flip effect, give your wrist a turn at the end
